Did Homo sapiens idaltu ever leave Africa?

I don’t think anyone’s found any archaeological evidence that they did, but given that only a tiny percentage of everything that ever lived ends up fossilised, that doesn’t mean that no H. sapiens idaltu person ever left Africa. The current picture is that our ancestors had already evolved into H. sapiens sapiens before they started spreading all around the world, but who knows? We’re always one major discovery away from having the picture completely altered.
